We are fully committed to creating a working environment based on mutual respect where discrimination of any kind is not tolerated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Getting here surely has been a journey. Because we are all learning<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a team, we have gone through a process of awareness that has led to broader perspectives. We\u2019ve gained empathy and learned to see each person for who they are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have endless anecdotes that confirm that at Abstracta these are not just words. This is part of how we do things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/span>Listening: our superpower<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Whenever there are disagreements, we put the issue on the table. We promote safe spaces where we can reflect on ways to communicate better and weave networks between people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It seems simple enough. You just need to dare<\/strong>. It might sound risky. But intentions, though very important, are not enough. We need to put them into action. This does involve some degree of effort. But to build trust and commitment those deep talks as a team are necessary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By getting to know each other better, we connect as people and we come together as a team. And that is where our strength is. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/span>More than just words<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In September it’s diversity month in Uruguay, and we celebrate it with an intervention on the facade of our Salto office, which is in front of the central square. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why in Salto? Because it’s the second most populated city in Uruguay. With 100,000 and few inhabitants, there is still a long way to go in terms of awareness regarding Diversity, Equity and Inclusion issues. And we believe that we can be part of that change<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By covering the windows of the office in such a central place in the city, we want to convey that Abstracta recognizes<\/strong>, respects<\/strong>, enjoys<\/strong> and promotes diversity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
