We’re excited to open the call for speakers on quality software topics to join Quality Sense Conf 2024 and WOPR Latam, which will be held in October in Medellín.

If you have an experience to share, we would love to meet you. Whether it’s about quality strategies, performance, cybersecurity, or testing and quality related to generative AI and co-pilots — you will find a platform with us. 

Here, you’ll be able to network with a variety of industry though leaders from different parts of the world, guide thousands of professionals in the sector with your experience, and leave marks that transcend borders and cultures.

Quality Sense Conf

QSConf is an annual conference that brings together professionals worldwide to share ideas and best practices on quality software development.

The event embarked on its Latin American journey in 2022, aiming to further establish the region as a digital hub on the global stage. Our mission is to broaden access to knowledge so that the IT community continues to expand and leverage technology to positively impact society.

In its 3rd edition, after its great impact in Uruguay and Chile, the conference will be held in Medellín, Colombia, on October 21st and 22nd. On the first day, the conference will be online, while the second day will take place in person at the Endava offices in Medellín.

Quality Sense Conf has stood out for bringing more international thought leaders to Latin America and for being the first to be held in different countries in the region.

What topics will we address at QSConf 2024?

The list of topics we want to prioritize is as follows:

Our focus is on helping people working in software building (whether in development, testing, infrastructure, etc.) to enhance their work with artificial intelligence. Furthermore, we seek to prepare ourselves to develop AI and ML-based applications with the best quality practices.

Workshops on Performance and Reliability (WOPR) Latam

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a new edition of WOPR Latam, this time in Medellín, Colombia. The workshop is on October 23, 24, and 25, right after #QSConf.

We will enjoy an intensive workshop where we will discuss different experiences in the areas of performance, reliability, and observability. This year’s theme is focused on addressing the performance challenges that arose from the COVID-19 pandemic.

We will share experiences about the solutions achieved, emergency remediations, contingency plans, performance tests under pressure, systems that doubled their load or had to scale in record time, and more.

This time, WOPR Latam is organized by Federico Toledo, Andréi Guchín, Jenifer Sanchez, and Leandro Melendez, in coordination with Eric Proegler  (WOPR organizer), and hosted by Abstracta Colombia and Endava.

Intended for a maximum of 25 professionals, WOPR is a globally prestigious event that seeks to deepen the knowledge of performance testing and reliability, alongside specialists from around the world.

As defined by its website, WOPR consists of a series of workshops for engineering and performance testing professionals, as well as people working in the software industry and dedicated to operations planning and development.

In 2022, we became the first company to host the event in Latin America, in Uruguay; and in 2023, we promoted the first edition of WOPR Latam. On this occasion, it was organized by Federico Toledo and Andrei Guchín, and hosted by Abstracta Chile.
