Increasing the level of collaboration between North and South America benefits the global tech community
It is a great honor to be named “Startup of the Month” by Latin:SF in conjunction with the opening of the new Consulate of Uruguay in San Francisco.
Latin:SF is a public-private initiative created between the San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Economic Workforce Development (OEWD) and the non-profit organization, Global:SF.
The purpose of Latin:SF is to be a gateway for economic development between Latin America, San Francisco and the rest of the globe for companies, entrepreneurs and organizations.
Global:SF hosts events, provides advisory services, business expansion assistance, logistical services, and more for individuals, companies, and institutions that seek to connect with the community in San Francisco, California, in many ways.
In its article, Latin:SF explains how Abstracta arrived in San Francisco from Uruguay six years ago, the services we offer to cutting-edge companies there, and our community involvement and philanthropy.
Our co-founder and Abstracta COO, Federico Toledo, is also quoted on the fact that, although Abstracta has become an established company, we’ve kept the most positive aspects of a startup in our team culture:
“Although Abstracta has maintained stability and already turned 12 years old, we continue to consider ourselves entrepreneurs, as we continue doing research for innovation in order to generate new products, expand to new markets and follow coming ideas… I believe we stand out because of our perseverance to pay constant attention to our team, which we believe is our main asset. We reaffirm this by investing in their training and by offering them clear growth opportunities.”
